All of the staff here are highly skilled, professional, and welcoming. I worked with Dr. Kotzo throughout my treatment of an injured shoulder. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in my recovery. Her assistant, Molly, was also incredibly friendly and made every visit a positive experience. Thank you both for the excellent care!

I cannot recommend Alisa at Texas Physical Therapy highly enough. From my very first appointment, I felt genuinely heard, respected, and cared for. She took the time to thoroughly explain my treatment plan, answer every question, and tailor each session to my specific needs and goals.
Alisa’s knowledge, professionalism, and encouragement made a tremendous difference in my recovery. Every visit was organized, motivating, and focused on measurable progress. Alisa challenged me appropriately while always making sure I felt comfortable and confident with each exercise.
What truly sets her apart is her compassion and dedication. It's clear she genuinely cares about her patients' success and well-being, not just during appointments but throughout the entire recovery process.
Thanks to Alisa's expertise, I've regained strength, mobility, and confidence that I wasn't sure I'd get back. If you're looking for a physical therapist who is exceptionally skilled, attentive, and invested in helping you achieve the best possible outcome, I wholeheartedly recommend her. Five stars isn't enough!

For the past 10 weeks I’ve worked with Dr. TJ Steel on the intermittent nerve pain (foot possession, as I like to call it) that randomly started last Fall. TJ was so great to work with - from sitting down with me and actually listening when I explained what had been happening (such a rare trait in the medical community) to coming up with a series of exercises that helped me go from being terrified of a flare up to forgetting to even mention my foot when talking to a new exercise instructor last week about the litany of issues my body has collected over the years. While I hope to never need another visit to a Physical Therapist, I definitely know who I’ll call if I require one.

The Far West location is well equipped, tidy and clean. I came in just for a muscular strain/imbalance issue and wow I got so much more help than I thought I would. I have yet to stump Dr. Alisa with my questions, she has plenty of useful exercises and good tips, especially for the issues from my aging muscles. A few of the exercises she taught me were challenging at first, but she listened to my needs and adjusted them accordingly. She also made the PT journey fun which helped me to stick with it.

Dr. Alisa Pho completely transformed my radial cuff tear limitations and pain in the 8 weeks I worked with her. Beyond pain management, she really pushed me to build strength and endurance in my back and shoulders to support my recovery, while being consistently informative and a pleasure to hang out with along the way. This particular Austin PTS location has a really great energy and is actually fun to be in through recovery as well. Can’t recommend it enough.

Dr. Alisa and the entire team at TexPTS were professional, light hearted, and collaborative.
They put their patients at ease and demonstrate the exercises well, while targeting areas of need in helpful, sensitive ways. I highly recommend Dr. Alisa and this practice when physical therapy is needed.

I am 50 and have constant patellar pain and aches in my left knee. Been going to see Jocelyn Harte for the past 4 months and what an improvement or should I say, a great comfort level with an injury like this!
She is steadfast, a great coach and listens to you. She has made me excited about doing my home PT too!
Lots of targeted work and my core has gotten stronger. I’m at a point where the pain will
pop in but the exercises and the work already done has done wonders.
When looking for a rock solid therapist, go see Jocelyn. She kicks ass!

I had a severe back pain (L4-L5) and after taking pain medicines, decided to do physical therapy. I contacted the Texas physical therapy specialists in Austin tx. They scheduled me for a series of therapy sessions during which the pain was treated with scientific exercises. Due to this half way through my six week sessions, the pain diminished and after I completed the course,I feel no pain. I am confident now that the issue is resolved.
I owe a big thank you to my therapist Dr. Jocelyn Harte for her methodical approach and treatment. She has understood the problem I had and was able to treat me. I am also very impressed with front desk staff who are very professional and welcoming.
With great sense of gratitude, I recommend this physical therapy to anyone who needs it without any hesitation. Thank you TexPTS!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Absolute Game Changer!**
If I could give Dr. Alisa Phommavong ten stars, I would. When I first started rehab with her two months ago, I was in a really rough spot and could barely walk. After some incredibly discouraging conversations with my primary care physician—who essentially told me I just needed to "do less" and learn to live with my knee issues—I was feeling pretty defeated.
Alisa completely turned things around. She didn’t just treat the injury; she listened, built up my confidence, and tailored a plan that actually worked. Two months later, my knee mobility and strength are back to levels I haven't felt since my 20s.
Thanks to her incredible expertise, guidance, and constant encouragement, I’m not just walking without pain—I’m currently preparing to run another half marathon! If you want a physical therapist who genuinely cares, challenges you, and gets real results, go see Alisa at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists. She is the absolute best!

Can't thank Taylor and crew enough for getting me back on my feet! I could not walk into the office without a cane and multiple breaks due to pain. Helped me maintain my body while I planned out surgery and then helped me recovery from the surgery much faster than expected and with a great long term outlook.
I went from not walking more than 10 yards to running, jumping, and coaching my daughter's softball team again including catching for her during warm ups!!!
Great team that is knowledgeable and pushes you. Everyone is super friendly to the point I looked forward to my appointments even though I knew Taylor was going to wear me out!

I have had a great experience here with two different physical therapists. I saw Alisa Pho for my shoulder and saw improvement in my condition in a very short period of time. Alisa was attentive and encouraging and really knows her stuff. Once I was on the right track with improvement, Alisa empowered me to do my home exercises to continue my treatment and didn't make me continue to come in for appointments longer than was necessary. Highly recommend her!
I also had the pleasure of working with Jocelyn Harte for a back issue and was also extremely pleased with her care. Jocelyn has a wealth of professional experience and really has a passion for physical therapy. She was always willing to listen and change course if something wasn't working for me. I also highly recommend Jocelyn!

Just finished PT here with Dr. Alisa Phommavong, my therapist. She was great to work with as she not only had me do exercises to improve my issue, but was also very pleasant to be around. Although I usually dislike exercise, this was pretty good and I would definitely recommend this facility and its staff.

I've been coming here for physical therapy twice a week for my knees and legs and really like everyone here. My therapist is TJ and he's very friendly and makes me feel comfortable while pushing me to do the exercises. In the cases where something might be tough he'll modify the exercise slightly for the version I do at home between the in-person therapy appointments.
The equipment here is well maintained and modern. Its cleaned immediately by the staff to keep it sanitized.
The music seems to alternate between styles. Like one afternoon it was all 80s new wave style music and another day was 70s rock. My guess would be that the alternate who picks the music.
The front desk staff is very nice and remembers your name and welcomes you in as you arrive. I accidentally missed an appointment one day cause it was at a different time and he was really nice and got me rescheduled for just a little later in the day with no charge for missing the earlier time.
