Ashley McKenney PT, DPT, CSCS

Ashley McKenney PT, DPT, CSCS
Clinic DirectorAshley McKenney is the Clinic Director of the San Antonio – Alamo Heights location.
Ashley McKenney was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She is a proud alumna of the University of The Incarnate Word where she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitative Science. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Baylor University in Waco, Texas – Sic ’em Bears!!
Ashley is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She is excited to further her knowledge in the field of physical therapy via continued education courses and specialty certifications.
When she’s not working in the clinic, Ashley enjoys spending time playing sand volleyball, frisbee golf and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her love for the outdoors, Ashley is also passionate about Olympic lifting and CrossFit.

Giovanna Nuanes PT, DPT, LAT, FAAOMPT

Giovanna Nuanes PT, DPT, LAT, FAAOMPT
Physical TherapistGiovanna Nuanes, PT, DPT, LAT, FAAOMPT earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in 2016. Prior to that, Giovanna obtained her master’s degree in athletic training from Texas State University and her undergrad degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in Athletic Training. Giovanna was a part of the Incarnate Word Softball Team and graduated as a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT).
After graduating with her doctorate from UTEP, Giovanna obtained her fellowship through the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) from the Manual Therapy Institute. Giovanna has an extensive background in working with the youth and athletic population.
In her free time, Giovanna enjoys outdoor activities such as playing sand volleyball and softball, enjoying family time with her husband and daughter, and outdoor activities with their three dogs.

Abraham Garcia PT, DPT, SCS

Abraham Garcia PT, DPT, SCS
Physical TherapistAbraham Garcia earned his Clinical Doctorate from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Prior to that, Abraham obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Arizona State University.
Abraham is currently a sports resident in the sports medicine program at TexPTS and is most interested in treating any sport-related condition.
In his free time, Abraham enjoys spending time with his wife and family, attending sporting events, and being outdoors – such as hiking.

Nicholas Salazar PTA, LMT

Nicholas Salazar PTA, LMT
Physical Therapist AssistantNick Salazar, PTA, LMT was born and raised on the city’s westside of downtown San Antonio, TX where he earned his Associate’s in Applied Sciences with his Physical Therapist Assistant license from Concorde Career College in 2023. Prior to that Nick earned his undergrad from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2009 in Kinesiology with his concentration in Exercise Science, GO RUNNERS! He then wanted to further his career and obtained his license as a Sports Massage therapist in 2016 where he began his own self-employed business.
Nick then decided to enlist into the United States Navy Reserves in 2014 where he became a Hospital Corpsman and specialized in tactical field medical care and later specialized as a physical therapy technician in 2019. Nick has served across the country in multiple capacities and deployed from 2020-2021 to the hospital ship Mercy to aid in the COVID relief mission to Los Angeles for two months and then deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba for 10 months. Nick continues to serve his country with pride and honor.
On his free time Nick loves to spend time his four children and his wife and enjoys bowling and playing pool.

Physical TherapistMarc Olsen was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from UCA, where he also represented the UCA Soccer Team.
Marc is currently a sports resident in the Sports Medicine program at TexPTS and is eager to expand his knowledge in the field of physical therapy to best help patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. He has a passion for manual therapy and treating all types of sport-related conditions.
In his free time, Marc enjoys spending time playing and watching sports with a particular passion for soccer, as well as working out and spending time with friends.
