Isaac Acay PT, DPT, OCS
Physical TherapistDr. Isaac Acay graduated from Texas State University with his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science, and South College with his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). He achieved the “Clinical Excellence” award from South College and soon returned as an alumni faculty to teach Doctorate Candidates as a musculoskeletal expert. Currently, Isaac is grouped into the top six percent Nationally as a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist.
Isaac’s passion revolves around instructing the next generation of Physical Therapists. Undergraduate volunteers, and interns from Texas State frequently shadow Isaac to build their portfolio. Isaac mentors both Doctoral Candidates and Orthopedic residents with to prep for graduations and sitting for their board exams. He provides evidence based mentorship to improve the quality of patient care and patient outcomes.
Prior to physical therapy, Isaac worked as a ground team leader for a private search and rescue team. Which has inspired a passion to treat the Occupational/Tactical Athletes.
Isaac enjoys practicing his archery and martial arts, holding multiple black belts from various styles. He practices what he preaches by staying active – hiking, paddle boarding, and exercising at 5 a.m daily.

Dr. Tyler Adams graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from The University of Tennessee at Martin, before attending University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas where he graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Tyler continued his education through Evidence in Motion to become a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
During his time at University of St. Augustine, he coached for Orangetheory Fitness in the north Austin area and continues to coach occasionally on the weekends. Upon graduating, he decided that the community and friends he found was too great to leave behind and decided to begin his career in Austin.
In his spare time, Tyler enjoys exploring Austin’s local parks with his dog Zazu and trying to eat anything a food truck will throw his way!

Stacie earned her Physical Therapist Assistant A.A.S. from the South University of Austin. She also received her Specialty Certification in Orthopedics from Evidence In Motion.
Stacie is passionate about advocating for every patient in pain, recovering from surgery, or who wants a more active and healthier lifestyle. She loves people of all ages and believes in treating the dysfunction of the patient and the patient as a whole.
She is faith-driven and loves spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time, Stacie loves spending time behind her camera, taking pictures of the outdoors, people, and pets, and capturing life’s precious moments.

Physical TherapistDr. Kailan Age is a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, TX. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of New Orleans. With a strong foundation in exercise science and physical therapy, Dr. Age is committed to providing her patients with personalized care and helping them achieve long-term wellness.
Passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients, Dr. Age takes pride in empowering individuals to live healthier, pain-free lives, with a focus on equipping them with the tools to maintain optimal health for years to come.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Age values quality time with her family and friends, and she especially enjoys spending time with her daughter, Oakland. Her dedication to both her professional and personal life reflects her deep commitment to care, growth, and connection.

Physical Therapist AssistantJeff Alexander attended Austin Community College where he earned his Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy. In 1992 he earned his certification in Myofascial Release.
Jeff enjoys using his education and experience to treat patients of variable diagnoses and backgrounds. He takes a special interest in manual therapy interventions related to myofascial and neuroscience pain.
When Jeff is not in the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as tending to his yard and plants. He is an avid college football and Alabama Crimson Tide fan.

Clarissa Garcia PT, DPT

Clarissa Alvarez was born and raised in Lake Jackson, TX, a small town just south of Houston. Clarissa completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at San Antonio where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Clarissa then continued her education at St. Philip’s College in San Antonio to earn her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assisting. Clarissa practiced as a Physical Therapist Assistant since 2016, but decided to further expand her skills as a clinician by applying to the PTA to DPT Bridge program through The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in August 2022 and is excited to use her new knowledge to provide great care to all her patients.
Clarissa’s professional interests include working with all different age groups, ranging from the geriatric population to competitive athletes. Clarissa is certified in LSVT BIG which is specific to treating individuals with Parkinson’s disease. She embraces the challenge of developing personalized treatment programs to assist patients in maximizing their function and improving their quality of life.
Clarissa’s hobbies include traveling, going to the gym, and trying new restaurants. Clarissa also enjoys being outside and experiencing new things in the greater San Antonio region. Most of all, Clarissa is passionate about spending time with friends, family and her toy fox terrier, Vera.

Physical TherapistColin earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from Kansas State University in the fall of 2017. Upon graduating, he attended the University of Missouri where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in the spring of 2021.
Colin completed an orthopedic residency through Evidence in Motion (EIM) and is currently a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Coming from a family of medical professionals, Colin has always wanted to be able to help patients live healthier and more fulfilling lives and he believes physical therapy gives him the best opportunity to do so.
When he’s not at the clinic, you can find him at the gym lifting weights, kicking back watching sports, or out exploring Austin with friends. Born and raised in Kansas City, he is a diehard Chiefs fan and still follows KState sports as well as Nebraska football.

Physical TherapistBaldwin is a first-generation physical therapist originally from the Lower Hudson Valley in New York, fluent in both English and Spanish. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Disability Studies from Stony Brook University before completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) at New York Medical College. Baldwin is currently enrolled in an orthopedic residency program working toward becoming a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
With a strong foundation in both clinical practice and disability studies, he approaches rehabilitation with a focus on empowering patients while respecting their unique backgrounds, needs, and perspectives to foster an inclusive and supportive environment. Baldwin is committed to providing evidence-based treatments and services that help his patients get back to the life they love.
Outside of his professional work, Baldwin enjoys exploring the outdoors, often with his two dogs by his side. He is also an avid fan of dystopian films, appreciating how they offer unique reflections and challenges to conventional views on human nature and the human condition. Baldwin loves cooking, traveling, and cherishes family game nights, where he can relax and connect with loved ones. Having recently moved to Texas, Baldwin is excited to immerse himself in the state’s vibrant outdoor community and history while continuing to develop his expertise in physical therapy.

Estefania Arguelles received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2010. Estefania began her career in marketing soon after graduation working for an international medical school focusing on the California market. Later she became the marketing director for a local medical practice where she enjoyed educating patients on the benefits of preventative health and wellness focusing on women’s health.
Estefania is happy to be a part of the TexPTS Family and looks forward to continued efforts to educate the community in the importance of wellness.
In her spare time, Estefania enjoys exercising, cooking and spending time with her family.

Prior to that, Marcela received her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Health Professions from Texas Tech University.
Marcy likes to spend her spare time outdoors with her two kids and husband.

Prior to this, he earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California. Continuing his professional development is a personal aspiration of Andrew, and he is currently pursuing an orthopedic residency program through Evidence In Motion (EIM) to attain the designation of Orthopedic Clinic Specialist (OCS).
Andrew is dedicated to assisting patients in enhancing their quality of life and witnessing positive transformations in both their physical and mental well-being. He is passionate about educating patients and providing unwavering support throughout their journey toward improved health.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys watching basketball, listening to podcasts, working out, and trying new restaurants with his wife.

Christopher Baker PT, DPT, DC, MS, DACBN

Dr. Baker is the Clinic Director in San Marcos and is a co-owner of Texas Physical Therapy Specialists.
Christopher Baker earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science and his Masters of Science in Nutrition from Texas A&M University. Following Texas A&M, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Texas Chiropractic College and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Evidence in Motion (EIM). He also has his Diplomat Board Certification through the American Board of Clinical Nutrition.
Dr. Baker has focused on injury assessment and treatment in the area of sports injuries, back pain, and associated fibromyalgia-type challenges. He enjoys integrating clinical nutrition with his manual-therapy based approach to functional recovery and treatment of musculoskeletal pain. He also focuses on injury prevention, work-force injury reduction, empowering patients with self-care and focusing on health care cost reduction for patients and employers.
Dr. Baker is married and has four children, two boys and two girls. His family travels together as a German Polka band and has performed in several states. In his spare time he enjoys
outdoor sports, canoeing, traveling, farming, and hunting. He is involved in several service organizations including Rotary, Crimestoppers, San Marcos, Oktoberfest, Chamber of Commerce, and Texas State University Performing Arts Center.

She is dedicated to ensuring that each patient’s needs are not just met but exceeded, fostering a partnership built on trust and respect. She consistently strives to deliver the highest quality care and is committed to continuous professional development. Taylor is currently in the specialist track at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists, preparing to become an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family, serving at her church, baking, and caring for animals. She also loves exploring nature-based outdoor locations and learning about history.

In his spare time, Evan enjoys playing basketball and spending time with friends and family. Evan enjoys watching his home town Spurs play and playing with his family’s two Golden Retrievers.

Physical TherapistDr. Kellan Barry earned his Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth (UNTHSC). Prior to that, Kellan earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Texas Lutheran University (TLU), where he was also a member of the football team. Kellan’s current goals include pursuing an Orthopedic Clinical Specialization (OCS) and a certification in strength and conditioning (CSCS).
Kellan’s favorite part about being a physical therapist is providing insight to patients about their current condition. Kellan believes that insight allows the patient to take a more active role in their treatment. Kellan intends to take his passion for teaching back to the classroom as an adjunct professor at his undergraduate and graduate programs in the future.
Kellan enjoys spending time with his wife and family, long distance running, going to concerts, and teaching himself how to play the bass guitar.
