Big shout out to my physical therapist Jocelyn for fixing me!

I love TPTS! . Taylor Kotzo’s wide knowledge of treatments, and the PT exercises I did with her cured a knee injury and relieved the arthritis in that knee so well that I can take walks now, do gardening and get much exercise as I wish!

I've been coming here for physical therapy twice a week for my knees and legs and really like everyone here. My therapist is TJ and he's very friendly and makes me feel comfortable while pushing me to do the exercises. In the cases where something might be tough he'll modify the exercise slightly for the version I do at home between the in-person therapy appointments.

The equipment here is well maintained and modern. Its cleaned immediately by the staff to keep it sanitized.

The music seems to alternate between styles. Like one afternoon it was all 80s new wave style music and another day was 70s rock. My guess would be that the alternate who picks the music.

The front desk staff is very nice and remembers your name and welcomes you in as you arrive. I accidentally missed an appointment one day cause it was at a different time and he was really nice and got me rescheduled for just a little later in the day with no charge for missing the earlier time.

Great team. They helped me win a problem I was having with my right hamstring. Dr Kotzo was great to work with and gave me the knowledge and skills I need to address this issue if it comes up again in the future.

TPT is the best place I could find to recover the mobility and strength of my shoulder after surgery. All the staff are very kind, and Jocelyn was the best physical therapist I could have had for my speedy recovery. Thank you.

I came to Texas Physical Therapy for the second time and like the first, the location was convenient, clean, the staff all professional and courteous, and they addressed my problems. Jocelyn was my therapist and I really appreciated that she listened to my issues and goals, and tailored my PT accordingly. It was also very easy to schedule appointments. Highly recommend.

I don’t love getting injured, but I do love that TPTS is always there for me when I do. Everyone I have worked with has been a true pro. They also have the nicest staff who are super helpful and fun to interact with. I highly recommend them if you need PT.

Thankful for Dr. Steel. He helped me rehab my ankle and I was able to complete my triathlon! All staff was super nice too!

I had surgery to repair a rotator cuff & bicep tear. The surgeon made it clear that surgery was only the first step in recovery and P.T. is the second. The first day at P.T. I was assigned to a wonderful lady, Dr. Kara L. PT, DPT Two weeks prior to P.T. i over used my arm, as men do and it was hurting bad. I had a feeling that the Dr. was going to tell me, “you have pulled stitches or screws out and you will need to have surgery again.” (That’s what I was thinking going in!) But Dr. Kara went through her evaluation and by the time we got to the end my arm was feeling better. The first time in two weeks. I was so happy and relieved especially when she said, “no surgery will be required.” The facility is clean and in order. All of the employees were kind, considerate and very professional. They consistently keep an eye on there patients making sure they are doing the exercises properly and if they need anything. Over all it was great experience. The building was easy to get to, and there was plenty of parking. Vincent

I cannot say enough good things about Texas Physical Therapy Specialists. I went to the location off Far West. My PT was Jocelyn (although they are all fabulous). I went to PT for my ankle and quadricep, and my recovery was complicated by some other factors. Jocelyn took into account my whole situation when creating my PT plan. At every session she assessed my progress and amended my plan as necessary. Thanks to her diligent attention and care, I completed my PT course 100% -- and even progressed beyond our original goals. If you are looking for a physical therapist, I HIGHLY recommend Texas Physical Therapy Specialists.

Tore my right rotator cuff in August 2024. Opted to NOT have surgery and instead went the PT route. Started at TXPTS in October 2024 and after 50 visits I can report that I'm 98 percent healed. This is up from the 20-30 percent of normal strength and range-of-motion that I had when I was originally evaluated. This was my first experience of going through a PT regimen for an injury, so I don't have a personal point of comparison with "other" clinics or therapists. I can say however that ALL of the staff at TXPTS Far West are friendly, up-beat, encouraging, knowledgeable, and seem to be genuinely interested in the welfare, health, and positive outcomes of their patients. Trebor "TJ" Steel was my therapist and it was a joy to work with him. He is funny and earnest and an absolute master of the shoulder - he has successfully treated thousands of rotator cuff injuries over his career and it shows. The facility itself is clean, well organized, and well equipped; and the staff works hard to keep the atmosphere fun and lively (well, about as fun and lively as possible when dealing with a bunch of grumpy and whiney injured people.) Overall the experience was very positive and I would not hesitate for a second to offer my highest recommendation of TXPTS Far West to anyone needing physical rehabilitation for an injury. I hope that I never need PT again, but if I do, at least now I know where to go. Thank you TJ and thank you TXPTS!

TJ Steel at Texas Physical Therapy saved my life (at least as I had been living it for the past 76 years). I have lived in my house for almost 35 years— all bedrooms are upstairs. Several months ago I pulled my hamstring, which made navigating the stairs nearly impossible. I thought I would have to move. After two months of working with TJ, I was back to my old (literally) self and was able to put off old folks home for a few more years. Yippee!

Dr. Kara Lydzinski is such an awesome PT! She helped me with my elbow knee and hip stability issues and got back to running at 51 yrs old!

Jocelyn is very knowledgeable, and so reassuring! Fantastic doctor!! Highly recommend! I went in for arthritis in my neck and now we’re working on my knees. Both instances, I’ve see improvement right away.

Dr. Harte was very knowledgeable, professional and fun to work with. She made sure I pushed myself, but never more than I could handle. My progress was consistent and got me back to where I should be.
All the techs were great, and Brandon was great to talk to and so helpful with my insurance.
