David G. Greathouse PT, PhD, ECS, FAPTA

David G. Greathouse PT, PhD, ECS, FAPTA
David G. Greathouse is the Director of Clinical Electrophysiology Services at TexPTS. He holds a BA in biology and physical education from Marshall University, a Certificate in Physical Therapy from the D.T. Watson School of Physiatrics, and a MS (Education/Physical Therapy) and PhD (Anatomy) from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Greathouse is a Diplomate, American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
From 1970-1996, Dr. Greathouse served in the United States Army attaining the rank of Colonel. Colonel Greathouse had clinical assignments at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (staff therapist), Washington, DC; Irwin Army Community Hospital (assistant chief), Ft. Riley, KS; Brooke Army Medical Center (staff therapist), Fort Sam Houston, TX; and 196th Station Hospital (Chief PT), Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), Mons, Belgium. From 1985-1990, Dr. Greathouse was the Director, U.S. Army-Baylor University Graduate Program in Physical Therapy, Fort Sam Houston, TX. From 1990-1993, Colonel Greathouse served as the Chief, Physical Therapist Section, Office of The Surgeon General, Falls Church, VA; and from 1993-1996, he was the Chief, Army Medical Specialist Corps, Office of The Surgeon General, Falls Church, VA.
From 1996-2005, Dr. Greathouse served as the founding chair and associate dean of the Belmont University School of Physical Therapy, Nashville, TN. During this time, he also was an Adjunct Professor, Department of Cell and Developmental Biology, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine where he was a member of the anatomy team teaching gross anatomy to the first year medical students. Dr. Greathouse also was a Clinical Electrophysiologist (EMG/NCS) in the Neurology Clinic, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Ft. Campbell, KY.
Dr. Greathouse has published over 50 manuscripts and 9 book chapters/monologues, and has given over 100 professional presentations. He is currently a member of the International Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT), and a manuscript reviewer for Physical Therapy and Clinical Anatomy. He served as the President, JOSPT BOD from 2005-2014. Dr. Greathouse is a past member of the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (1989-1993 and 2005-2009; Chair 1991-1993); Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (2005-2009); Research Advisory Committee (1991-1997) and Scientific Review Committee (1998-2001) for the Foundation for Physical Therapy; and an Associate Editor for JOSPT (1996-1998). He was a recipient of the Clinical Electrophysiology Section (APTA) Award of Excellence in 1999. Dr. Greathouse was named a Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the APTA in 2006. In 2013, Dr. Greathouse was inducted into the University of Kentucky College of Health Sciences Hall of Fame.
His current teaching positions include the U.S. Army-Baylor University Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy, Fort Sam Houston, TX (Adjunct Professor); Creighton University DPT Program, Omaha, NE (Professor, contributed services basis); Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, Provo, UT (Adjunct Faculty); U.S. Army- Baylor University Post-Professional Doctoral Program in Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, TX (Adjunct Clinical Faculty); and Texas State University DPT Program, San Marcos, TX (Adjunct Professor).

Clinic DirectorDr. Hilary Higgins received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Texas at Southwestern in Dallas, TX. Prior to this, she graduated from Texas A&M University in 2012 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and a double minor in Psychology and Business. She has since completed a one-year Orthopedic Residency program through Evidence in Motion, is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling and most recently completed an Executive Private Practice Management Certification.
Dr. Higgins has a love for the orthopedic population, ranging from infancy to the elderly population. She has also trained to work with those who experience chronic pain and limitations from Breast Cancer and Lymphedema. She has a special interest in leadership and business management, improving her knowledge of the physical therapy profession not only to provide quality services but to also build genuine relationships with clients and colleagues.
Hilary is a native South Texan with a love for quality time with family, friends and the great outdoors. She enjoys spending her time out of the clinic with her spouse and rescue dog, Georgie, exploring new sites around town and soaking up the sun. She also enjoys cycling, shopping, projects around the house and spending weekends at the lake.

Caitlin Monaghan PT, DPT
Physical TherapistDr. Caitlin Monaghan earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston , TX. Prior to that, she earned an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) from the State College of Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from The University of South Florida.
She is currently completing a residency to earn her Orthopedic Specialist Certification, and plans on earning her pelvic floor certifications. Caitlin is passionate about working with orthopedic populations of all ages, in addition to patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. She hopes to get her patients back to doing what they love.
Caitlin is a Florida native and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Lilo. In her free time, she likes being on the water, traveling to new places, and weight lifting.

Doctor of Physical TherapyDr. Dominique Galvan is a bilingual Texas native who earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of the Incarnate Word. Prior, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitative Science with a double minor in Psychology and Business Administration from the University of the Incarnate Word.
She is excited to further her knowledge in the field of physical therapy. She is currently a residency candidate to earn her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Certification. Dominique has a passion for helping her patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
When she’s not working in the clinic, Dominique enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, playing sports, and finding new recipes to try in the kitchen.

Physical TherapistDr. Molleigh Green received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas after graduating from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Motor Behavior with a Minor in Psychology. Molleigh has also completed a yearlong Orthopedic Residency program through Evidence in Motion and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling.
Molleigh truly enjoys building a relationship with each of her patients in order to create a fun and enjoyable environment as well as a collaborative and trusting partnership. She is passionate about patient education and helping each patient understand their bodies and how we are designed to move and function.
In her free time, Molleigh enjoys camping with her family, snuggling with her two kids, reading, and grabbing a beer with her husband.

Physical TherapistDr. William Kenefick received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Nutrition, Food, and Exercise from Virginia Tech with a minor in Psychology and then earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
William has a passion for furthering his physical therapy knowledge and applying this learning in an individualized program that best suits the needs of each patient. He is currently working towards completing an orthopedic residency program and earning his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification to further develop his skills and expertise.
In his free time, William enjoys hiking, playing soccer and basketball, watching movies, and reading.
